About Christy.png

Hi! I'm Christy, Papertree Studio's creative director and founder. I have over fifteen years experience working within the industry and have a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Graphic Design from Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University). I formerly worked as a Marketing and Advertising Designer for Philadelphia magazine before taking the leap to do this full-time in 2012 to grow my little Papertree.

I love creating art that is unexpected, playing with typefaces and texture. I love creating something that evokes feeling. It is truly an honor to be trusted with such a special part of a couple's wedding day.

When I am not creating I am a busy mom to my little red-headed babies Audrey and Declan (and Weimaraner Sammy-Boo). My family is my life, plain and simple.

I truly love what I do whether it is a logo or an invitation suite. I would love the opportunity to work with you so please reach out and SAY HI to discuss your project or upcoming event!

Meet TinA

Hi! I'm Tina, Papertree Studio's Jack of All Trades. I have a Bachelors degree with a concentration in Marketing. I help with all facets of Papertree from assembling suites to accounting needs.

Not only am I the mom to Christy, the owner (and her sister and brother) but am also the proud GiGi to 5 grandchildren and love every second of it.

Hi! I'm Tara and I'm Papertree's Studio Studio Manager. I graduated from Immaculata University in 2011 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Graphic Design. I am Christy's right hand lady when it comes to managing production schedules and invitation suite assembly. I met Christy while I was planning my wedding and she designed my invitation suite- it was love at first meeting :) As a former bride of Christy's, I can assure you that you are in amazing hands and she will go above and beyond to make all of your wedding paper dreams come true.

As a creative myself, I run my own portrait and wedding photography business, Grove Photography. I love to capture organic moments and life as it happens. When I'm not behind a camera or computer screen I love to spend time with my husband, AJ, our fur baby, Olly, and our family and friends.

I love meeting new people and I'm excited to help you coordinate some of the small details of your big day!

Hi! I'm Meg Fitch and am here to help you with all you calligraphy and lettering needs. I attended Philadelphia University and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and then went on to get a Masters of Visual Arts Education. Since graduating in 2002, I have worked within the fashion industry. I also got married and now have two kids! I've been doodling phrases and names since high school and finally decided to put my talents to use. It took a little kick in the pants by my bestie, the enormously talented Christy Howton. My work has been featured on a variety of websites and I am lucky enough to be part of Papertree Studio.

Most days you can find me with a pen in my hand, either working on a calligraphy project or scribblin’ a to-do list. I’ve got a thing for lists, as in, sometimes I write things down just to cross them back off again.  I'm married to my husband Ed -- we laugh a lot and make decisions based on rock, paper, scissors. I love interior design, never miss a morning cup of jo, am a sucker for pretty packaging, and I always have my bags packed.  Growing up, I rewrote my school notes so I could master my own handwriting and I penned weekly letters to my grandmother throughout college, so it's fair to say I've got a thing for pretty writing.  We only have one life, I believe in making it count, keeping it real, and singing badly out of tune. I love dogs, will never turn down a margarita, and never met a beach I didn't like. I believe in doing more of what makes us happy.

My style? It’s high end, yet laid back. I want you to feel invited to come as you are, to stay awhile, and have some fun while you’re at it. My job is to help you with the small details, because I believe it’s the little things that make a big difference.  You know that old saying, "find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life?" Getting up every day and doing what I love makes me come alive and I hope you will find my enthusiasm infectious as we work together!
