The lead designer, Christy, started her career as a marketing, advertising and event designer for a local publishing and magazine company.
She has worked in the design field for 20 years. She has always approached her design to make all the pieces feel as if they live happily within the same family.
We will only work with a few commissions per year, so please reach out to us as soon as you secure your wedding date.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Who are you when you’re apart? Who are you when you’re together? What do you love? These are the questions we look to answer for each and every event we design. We believe that every celebration is an opportunity to create a unique reflection of your personal style, and we work with each of our couples to dive into their personalities, hobbies, and favorite styles. We strive to create events that look and feel, undoubtedly, like you.
Throughout the time we work together, think of us as the creative directors for your event as we take your vision and create a cohesive design that is intentional and tasteful with a clear narrative. We will present a comprehensive design plan that encompasses your aesthetic and personality while complimenting your venue and environment. Then we will build upon these ideas as we make this vision a curated reality.
Whether you would like us to collaborate with your existing team of wedding vendors or build a unique team filled with professionals we know and love, we can create a custom, bespoke package for your individual needs.

Color Palette: We will help to guide you as you select the perfect shades of complimenting colors to create your palette.
Paper and Displays: From save-the-dates and invitations, to escort walls and monogrammed stage backdrops, we can design custom elements to create a cohesive stationery story.
Floral Design & Décor: We will collaborate with the area’s finest floral decorators to bring your bloom vision to life. Expect us to present you with ideas, sketches, and photos to help you to envision the looks we have in mind. Then we’ll look to professional florist teams to create designs that are fresh and stylish.
Lighting Design: Lighting is an area of event design that is rarely utilized to achieve maximum impact. Along with our event lighting specialist, we will help you realize an event that is well-lit. Whether tiny pin lights on your flowers or blankets of candles on the escort card table, we will assure that your event has the appropriate ambiance for your concept.
Tabletop & Rentals: We have access to the finest chairs, linens, glassware, furniture, flatware, and serving pieces. We will carry your concept through using fine details such as sumptuous velvet linens, antique serving trays, and creative accent pieces.
THE PROCESS
When you inquire, we will set up a time for an initial virtual consultation to discuss how you envision your day and advise what services will best bring your vision to life. We will then create a custom proposal for you to review. If you are ready to move forward, we will send you a contract and deposit link to secure your date.
You will receive a link to your personal design portal to begin the process. In the portal system, you can access your timelines, wording documents, design proofs, and all other pertinent information needed for your event.
To begin the design process, we will work together with you to gather your preferred color palettes, aesthetic, favorite venues, and additional inspiration. Then we will create a cohesive design plan to set the tone for your event. You can also forward your design plan to your vendors, so we can all collaborate with ease.
As a team, we can design, create, produce, commission, build, or source everything and anything you need. Whether we do this in-house or pass the baton to our preferred vendors, you can rest assured that everything is sourced or created with thoughtful expertise and skill. We will always provide sketches and mockups for anything we are advising or creating to make sure you are happy with the overall style.
Our team is also available the day before and/or the day-of your event to oversee setup and ensure every element is completed as expected and continues to remain in-line with your design plan. We are also available to set up and install any of the pieces created by our team.
Overall, our goal is always for you to love your event, so we work carefully to ensure you always feel valued and listened to from the moment we first meet until your event comes to a close.
TRAVEL
We are available for a handful of destination events throughout the year. Because our calendar fills quickly, please inquire as soon as you have a firm date in mind.
